Classic American hamburger


Ingredients (for 6 pieces):

– 6 buns with sesame seeds
– 800-900 g ground beef
– 3 medium tomatoes
– 6 slices of cheddar cheese
– 150 g iceberg lettuce
– 2 red onions
– 2 pickled cucumbers
– 1 tbsp. L. With a hill of Cajun spices
– 3 tbsp. L. Ketchup (recipe below)
– 3 tbsp. L. Home-made mayonnaise (recipe below)
– 3 tbsp. L. Vegetable oil
– Salt and freshly ground black pepper

The recipe for burger:

1. Wash and cut the salad. Wash and cut into slices tomatoes, as well as pickled cucumbers. Peel and cut thin onions into rings (3-4 mm thick).

2. In a bowl, combine the mince with spices and a pinch of salt. Form 6 cutlets according to the size of the rolls.

3. In a heated frying pan over medium heat, fry the onions with vegetable oil for 4-5 minutes. Salt, pepper and place on a plate.

4. Fry in the same frying pan for 3-5 minutes on each side.

5. Cut the buns in half. Lubricate the lower halves with mayonnaise, and the top ones with ketchup. Lay the chopped lettuce leaves on the bottom halves of buns, top with roasted onions, cutlets on it, then on cheddar slice, sliced tomatoes and cucumbers. Cover everything with the top half of the rolls and at once you can eat.

 American hamburger

– 500 g of ripe tomatoes
– 1 onion, finely chopped
– 1 clove of garlic
– 1 pinch of paprika
– 100 ml of wine vinegar
– 100 g of sugar
– Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Wash tomatoes, remove seeds, cut into small pieces. Fold in a saucepan, add sugar, vinegar, onion, garlic, paprika, salt and freshly ground black pepper. Cook on low heat for 1.5-2 hours, stirring occasionally. Wipe through a sieve and cool.

– 1 egg yolk
– 1 tbsp. L. With a mustard slide
– 1 tbsp. L. Wine vinegar
– 200 ml of vegetable oil
– Salt and freshly ground black pepper

In a bowl, combine the egg yolk and mustard. Gradually, in small portions, pour in the vegetable oil, constantly whipping the mixture. Add salt and freshly ground black pepper. At the very end, add the wine vinegar and mix again well.
