This recipe I got from the grandmother every summer at the cottage, I helped her with blanks. The peculiarity of this jam that strawberry is a dense, flavorful, as if just from the garden!

You will need:

1 kg of strawberries
Sugar 800 g

How to cook:

1. Wash strawberries, remove the stalk and dry. Cut each berry into 4-6 pieces.

2. Place the berries in a bowl layers, alternating with sugar. left at room temperature overnight. During this time the strawberries will give juice, which should completely dissolve the sugar. If necessary, a few times gently to mix the jam with a spoon.

3. sterilized jars. I do it over the steam of boiling the kettle for 10 minutes. Arrange the jam in hot banks. close the lid. Keep refrigerated.
