Italian Strawberry Tarte

Ingredients :

1/2 cup flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
6 tbsp. Softened creamy unsalted butter (90 g)
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs (room temperature)
2 tbsp warm milk
Strawberry
Fresh whipped cream
baking dish 22-24 cm

Cooking:

1. Preheat the oven to 180 g. Mix the sifted flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt in a bowl.
2. In a separate bowl, beat the butter and sugar with a mixer. Add the eggs and milk and beat a little more. Add the dry ingredients to the butter and egg mixture. Stir with a wooden spatula.
3. Lubricate the baking dish with oil, distribute the dough. Cut the strawberry in half and put in a circle, pressing it well to the dough.
4. Bake for about 30-35 minutes. Readiness check with a wooden skewer.

Allow the tartu to cool slightly and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve warm tart with whipped cream.
