Chicken with creamy cilantro

To favorite chicken file in a new way — you need to prepare for him a delicate cream sauce with cilantro. Chicken fillet in cream sauce perfectly complement any side dish.

Chicken with creamy cilantro


Fresh cilantro — 1 bunch
Corn oil — 1 tbsp. l.
Chicken fillet — 4 pcs. (120 g each)
Cornstarch — 1 tsp..
Water — 1 tbsp. l.
Natural Yogurt — 90 g (1/3 cup)
Low-fat cream — 2 tbsp. l.
Chicken broth — 175 g (3/4 cup)
Lemon juice — 2 tbsp. l.
Garlic (chopped) — 2 cloves
Tomato skinless (cut into cubes) — 1 pc.
Salt and ground black pepper to taste
Shallots (chopped) — 1 pc.

1. To postpone some coriander leaves for decoration. The remaining leaves chop in a food processor or chop with a knife.

2. In a large skillet heat the corn oil. Share on heated pan and fry chicken until golden brown on both sides for about 5 minutes. Transfer the fried chicken on a plate, cover with foil to keep warm.

3. Mix in a bowl, corn starch and water, whisk to mix until smooth. Add the yogurt and cream. Mix well. In a frying pan pour the chicken broth and lemon juice. Put the garlic and shallots. Reduce heat and cook for about 1 minute. The yoghurt mixture, add the tomatoes, stir and add this mixture to the pan. Season with salt and pepper. To prepare the cream sauce over low heat, stirring, until slightly thickened, but do not bring to a boil. Add chopped cilantro.

4. Fried chicken out onto a large dish, pour the sauce and sprinkle with coriander leaves. Serve the chicken in cream sauce with fresh salad or side dish any taste.
